The terms that govern your use of PixSip
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of PixSip (the "Service") at pixsip.com. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What PixSip does
PixSip compresses and converts images. The compression runs inside your own browser using WebAssembly; your image files are not transmitted to us. We provide the software and the website that delivers it — we do not process, host, or store your images.
3. Your images are yours
You keep every right you have in the images you compress. We claim no licence over them, and we could not exercise one if we did: we never receive them.
You are responsible for having the right to use the images you put through the Service.
4. Accounts
You may use the free tier without an account. A paid plan requires one.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate an account that is used to break these terms or the law.
5. Plans, billing, and renewals
- Prices are shown on the pricing page and are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
- A lifetime plan is a one-time payment that grants access to the paid features of the Service for as long as we operate it. It is not a promise that the Service will run forever.
- We may change prices. A change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for, and subscribers are given notice before a renewal at a new price.
6. Refunds
If a paid plan is not what you expected, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it. Ask after that and we will still look at it — we would rather you were not stuck with something you do not use.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to process images you have no right to process;
- resell, white-label, or redistribute the Service as your own product;
- attempt to circumvent plan limits, billing, or authentication;
- probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure, or interfere with anyone else's use of it;
- scrape or bulk-download the site beyond ordinary use.
8. Availability
We work to keep PixSip available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because compression runs locally, a page you have already loaded will keep working even if our site is temporarily unreachable.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will give notice and refund the unused portion of any subscription.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Compression is lossy by design. Keep your originals. We are not responsible for image quality outcomes, and we cannot recover a file you did not keep a copy of, because we never had it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
11. Third-party trademarks
TinyPNG and Tinify are trademarks of Voormedia B.V. Any comparison we publish is for identification and comparison only. PixSip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them, or by any other company named on this site.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Material changes are announced by email to account holders. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you break these terms. Sections 3, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
